Space age "Infraphil" heat table/wall lamp designed by the architect Charlottee Perriand for Philips. Manufactured in the 1950s in the Netherlands. The lamp was originally intended as heat lamp, but can be used as decorative accent lamp. Perriand sought to create sleek, elegant form that was functional. The lamp minimal design encapsulates that in the bold palette of the handle and globe, the dynamic conical shape of the body, and overall lightness of the lamp.
