Pair of “Carciofo” Chrome Wall Sconces by Gianni Celada for Fontana Arte, 1970s

A striking pair of sculptural wall sconces designed by Gianni Celada for Fontana Arte, known as the Carciofo model. Produced in Italy in the 1970s, these distinctive lights feature an architectural composition of polished chrome elements with angled, oval openings that create a bold interplay of reflections and light.

Their geometric, almost futuristic form reflects the refined Italian modernist design of the period. Beautiful as a pair flanking a mirror, artwork, or architectural feature, they bring a sophisticated Space Age character to any interior.
