This mid-century pendant lamp was designed by Flemming Brylle and Preben Jacobsen. This is a rare version of smoked plastic. The lightness of the design lies, particularly in the materiality and transparency. The basic structure of the lamp is made of transparent acrylic ribs. The diffusers or reflectors are thin and flexible, opaque plastic strips which are inserted between ribs in the acrylic and so impart the characteristic shape and lighting effect of the light.
