Aggregato Braccio Wall Lamp by Enzo Mari & Giancarlo Fassina for Artemide, 1970s
A very rare wall or ceiling light from the Aggregato series by the Italian manufacturer Artemide, designed in the 1970s by Enzo Mari and Giancarlo Fassina. The lamp is distinguished by its dramatically extended arm and its deliberately pared-back construction. The arm is formed from an aluminum profile with a clipped-in cable channel that remains visible on the exterior, emphasizing the design’s technical honesty. Double ball joints at both ends of the arm allow it to be precisely positioned and secured with a locking lever, giving the lamp exceptional flexibility. A distinctive feature of this version is the tensioned cord bracing, anchored to the wall or ceiling to support the long arm both structurally and visually. Today, only the pendant lamp from the Aggregato series remains in production, making this configuration particularly rare and sought after.
